Sue started decorating cakes from an early age and won her first gold medal for a cake with marzipan roses at only 8 years old! She went on to win the “Prix d’honneur” at Hotelympia where her entry won the overall top prize from over 1,200 other entries. Having retired from competitions, Sue now judges for that event and at Cake International exhibitions, as well as judging at other national food awards. Teaching cake decorating has taken her to America, Malaysia, Japan and Europe. Her speciality is creating amazing sugar flowers which are stunning and remarkably realistic.
