After achieving a City & Guilds in Sugarcraft, Nichola joined Cake Craft World as a creative cake designer and decorator and is known for her remarkable attention to detail. Her style is influenced by the love of being a qualified (BA Hons) textile and fashion designer, which is expressed through the use of colour, pattern and design which are key elements that reflect her skills and passion. Nichola is also very experienced in sugar modelling, flower making and painting cakes for all occasions. Watch her take you, step by step through techniques such as cake marbling, creating edible gold sequins and ornate pearl borders. One of her most watched videos is the cake based around an afternoon tea where the 3D teapot cake, icing cup and saucer and cupcake are all set on a board decorated as a tray!
