Helen Mansey's background in fashion design and cookery were the keys to fuelling the conception of her successful wedding cake business, Bellissimo Cakes. Helen was awarded a Gold Award at the Squires Kitchen 25th Wedding Anniversary Cake competition and in 2012, she was shortlisted in the Hitched Breakthrough Awards for Best New Wedding Cake Designer. She is currently on the judging panel for the Wedding Industry Awards. Her first book Bellissimo Wedding Cakes was published in 2015 and she is also one of the contributing authors to The Art of Sugarcraft. Helen is also the creator of the Bellissimo Flexi Smoothers, a cake smoother set for producing crisp edges on cakes.
