Join Claire as she demonstrates how to create this stunning design, inspired by the current craze 'cake top forward' but this time made with sugarpaste not buttercream.
This tutorial is packed full of top tips and fantastic cake decorating skills and one not to be missed. We start with how to ganache a cake on all four sides, followed with covering with sugarpaste to achieve super sharp edges before flipping it so the top faces forward.
You will then be shown how to add a beautiful royal iced Art Deco stencil to the side of the cake accented with a hint of gold, then followed by how to make a non-descriptive wired sugar flower created using numerous methods.
Claire then finalises this design by adding colour and depth to the sugar flowers to be arranged to the side of the cake using a nifty gadget. If you love this tutorial as much as we do, then check out the following videos below for more great ideas.
